Shaffer ( Chimere ) Smith .de son nom de scéne Ne-Yo .est un chanteur de R'N'B americain aux origines afro-americaines ainsi que chinoises.
Né à Camden Arkansas le 18 octobre 1982 et issu d'une famille de musiciens, il grandit à Las Vegas et, en dans les années 2000 à la chance d'écrire pour des stars déjà connu tel que Mary J Blige .
C'est lui qui écrit "Let me love you " chanté par Mario, " Unfaithful " chanté par Rihanna ( a qui il donne des cours de chants ), ou encore " Irreplaceable ", célèbre hit de Beyoncé.

■ Ne-Yo a essayé de contacter Jennifer Hudson, suite a ce qui lui est arrivée :


" Je lui ait envoyée une tonne d'e-mails, je l'ais appelée plusieurs fois, bien sur, je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'elle me réponde, avec ce qu'il lui est arrivée. Mais je lui ait envoyé pleins d'e-mails pour lui dire que toutes mes prières allaient à elle et à sa famille, et je lui ait dit d'essayer de retrouver le moral. Dieu a un plan pour tout "

-> La mère, le neveu et le frère de Jennifer Hudson ont été assasinés, il y a quelques semaines.


■ Ne-Yo se confie sur ce qui se passe autour de son fils :


Avec les vacances qui arrivent, Ne-Yo a révélé qu'il projette de les passées avec son fils "Je lui enverrai sans doute un cadeau, mais juridiquement on ne me permet pas même d'être avec lui. C'est une longue histoire, peut-être qu'après j'en parlerai à la presse, mais pour le moment je n'est pas le droit de le voir."


-> Jesse White, la mère de Chimère a interdit à Ne-Yo de le voir car selon elle il n'assumerai pas son devoir de père car il ne paie pas les pensions et tout ce qu'il faut pour son fils.



■ Un des rêves de Ne-Yo :



Apparemment, la gloire ne promet pas à Ne-Yo d'avoir tout ce qu'il veut : il a avoué qu'il reve d'avoir un chien : " J'en veux un, mais je ne suis jamais dans un endroit assez longtemps pour en avoir un. Et je ne veux pas un petit chien que tu emportes avec toi à chaque fois que tu te déplaces. Ce n'est pas pour moi. Moi je veux un Rottweiler. Je veux un chien avec qui tu peux monter dessus comme un cheval. Mais tu peux pas prendre un chien avec toi dans un avion. Ca çe fait pas !

■ Ne-Yo sur le nouvel album de Ghostface :


Cette info n'a pas été confirmé, mais Ne-Yo pourrait faire parti du nouvel album de Ghostface Killah intitulé GhostDeini the Great. Ils avaient déjà collaborer ensemble en 2006, sur le titre Back Like That sur le dernier album de Ghostface, Fishcale.
